Close your eyes and take a block, yellow or grey. Now you know what
team you're on. Decorate the block; turn it into a building. Add it to
the hexagonal city in front of you.
Both teams are striving to join opposite sides of the board, blocked only by the rival buildings that spring up in front of them - you'll need to come back later to find out whether your team succeeded.
